Testimonies

"Rev 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death."

Testimonies help us to overcome obstacles in our lives.  By testifying the whole Body of Christ is built up.  Be encouraged by the testimonies below.

Just a quick one to touch base and let you know we finally made it home safe and sound, after stopping off in Perth to see Naomi.  Qantas blessed us with a no-charge stop over.

Naomi was intrigued to hear all about our ministry outreach and sends her fond Love,as she prepares for her final year exams next month.

Our time with you was an overwhelming blessing to us both. In which we were privileged to partake of such vibrant and loving fellowship. As we observed and partook of the 'organic life' of the spirit in the church, it was nothing short of inspirational. It was genuine, it was real, it was natural and flowed in such a way that it was not forced or obligatory.

It was an enduring experience to behold and to cherish.  Congratulations - It would give anyone a new Hope and meaning for Church Fellowship.

A true Living Church Organism with depth, width and maturity, transcending all age and culture barriers.  Which we also found in all your affiliated Harvester Churches and the Summit.

We were very grateful for the tremendous effort you went to, not only for making it possible for me to be there , but for Mary as well. It really blessed us both, more than you will know. To be able to share it together as well as to minister as a completed witness of One, was a real privilege and encouragement.

It was a life changing experiences for us and one that we believe is the commencement of something new and awesome. What the eye has not seen nor the heart yet conceived. And a reminder- lest we forget- that there is still some fuel left in the tank. With more of life yet to be shared with the who so's and the what so's. I guess it is better to wear out than rust out.

Keep us in your prayers, as we move forward one day at a time - Living by Faith is a Living Faith.

Please give our heart felt love and thanks to all your beautiful family and all of Christ's Disciples, who made our time with you so memorable and everlasting.

Love Michael and Mary Wood

Hello Everyone at Harvester Church.I just wanted to say again what a wonderful church you are and how grateful we both are for the blessing you were/are to us. We are still completely overwhelmed by the love you showed us. You showed us what church can be and should be. Your encouragement is very much appreciated. As we begin to process all that we encountered, as we begin to look through the photos - about 1,000! and recall the fantastic time we had in your beautiful country we are able to look above and beyond the little irritations that were once huge stumbling blocks to us; we begin to see a further horizon, a further peak to conquer and we are built up enough to attempt the further climb, even though we know there may well be future Hillary Steps to overcome. God works in amazing ways, from the safe return of luggage and cricket gear, to the orchestration of early retirement in order to serve Him better. We are a very small group of people here in Sowerby Bridge but we are so certain of what God wants to do and how he wants His church to be built. "Keep Calm and Carry On" is a poster I have on the wall upstairs in church where a group of us attempt to keep fit and fight the flab! I now believe it is a prophetic statement of where we are as a church leadership, we must simply keep calm and carry on, being still and knowing that He is God! Thank you for helping us to see this and to feel the peace in our hearts as we begin to truly understand this statement.Oh dear, I have rambled from a simple greeting of thanks to a homily, but maybe that was important to write down too. Please give special love and hugs to Catherine and thanks again for opening her home to us. We really felt at home from the moment we met her at the airport. Also thanks to our personal shoppers, Yvette and Diane, we had such a wonderful time at The Waterfront - Mmmmm Sushi! Also to Derick and Teresa for their hospitality and wisdom. Louis, our most handsome taxi driver, aide and supporter thank you for being you and being so lovely...............oh I could go on for ever. Thank you Aje and Chantal, for your wisdom, for organising such a great Summit and for your wonderful worship. We so enjoyed being with you and Cherie and Ethan. Thank you Andre and Nola for inspiring us, teaching us, loving us and taking us under your wings, and for making us laugh, oh how you made us laugh. Poor Peter!!I have downloaded the Foundation Course and The Life of Christ Part 1 and am looking forward to studying with Harvester! We look forward to being with you again soon,Love Beverly
